In days gone by, Thorpe Park had its very own on-park radio station. From a studio overlooking Teacup Twisters, it broadcast around the park music, and adverts and jingles for various rides and attractions. Today it has been reduced to a central playout base for some of the music around the park. Click here to read all about it, as told by one of the presenters, Nik Rawlinson.
Firstly, some old photographs from my albums! The first picture you see is the cover of "Your souvenir Polaroid picture with Mr. Rabbit", followed by me with Mr. Rabbit, not looking very happy! The third picture is interesting, because the clean blue building you see in the background is now the Amity Cove KFC! Also, you can see the old Thorpe Park uniform of yellow top and tight shorts or long skirt.

And now a few old pics collected on the web - not many at the moment, but more to follow! The first one shows what Central Area originally looked like. Back then it was known as European Square, and without rides such as Thunder River and The Flying Fish it was far more open, allowing for gardens. The picture is of a human sundial in the French Garden. And have you ever wondered what that tatty looking fake boat is like inside? Well, take a look at the second photo! The third picture shows what happened to the trains which ran around Treasure Island. Well, it seems they have been bought by a miniature railway enthusiast.
